Friday Fun Featuring 27 Feral Animal Funnies From the Cradle of Mother Nature

Mother Nature has given humanity a great deal of wildlife to look up to when I try to get inspired on how I'm going to spend my weekend. And I'm all about sharing this with you, fellow animal fans.

When Friday arrives, I usually start planning my weekend from that same night. And since I'm a very dedicated animal lover, I'm looking for strange, interesting, and sometimes weird and silly wild animals to get inspired for my weekend plans. First of all, there's Friday night, and I'm all about letting loose and celebrating the weekend's arrival like a good nocturnal feral creature. Like the raccoons behind my place. They ravage the bins in the back alley like it's a Friday night party bar, and honestly - sounds relatable.

But then, after a whole night of partying, there's Saturday. It's a day for resting and restoring all that spent energy, waking up late, and doing basically nothing while my body recharges. And for that, I look where it's quiet and weightless - the ocean. You can find many Saturday inspirations amongst the ocean wildlife, but I specifically think of a manatee - she might not be beauty, she might not be grace, but she's definitely the best floating model for relaxing and unwinding, while being super happy about it.

And then, when Saturday gives way to Sunday, when I feel all refreshed and energized, it's time to socialize again. That's usually when I plan to invite my friends to our bi-weekly D&D session - and this Sunday it's happening! And when that occasion comes, I like to think of the owls - wise, mysterious, and connected to magic lore like my players use when I start DMing. This session is going to be a hoot!
